Senior Partner

Barry A. Bobek

An avid sailor, Barry Bobek landed on the banks of the St. John's River after his father, a Naval Officer, was stationed at NAS Jacksonville.  Since 1980, he has worked for the citizens and small businesses in North Florida. He has litigated appeals in front of the Florida Supreme Court, securing a win for his client, and thereby changing the landscape of Jacksonville forever. When choosing an attorney, make sure that they have litigation experience, are willing to go to trial on your behalf, and have appeared before Jacksonville judges.  Barry Bobek has successfully secured the rights of clients in County Courts, Circuit Trial Courts and appeals in District Courts, all the way to the Florida's Supreme Court.  My practice has allowed me the freedom to represent Florida families, and now their sons and daughters.  They get the senior partner every time.

Partner

Lauren E. Bobek

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Lauren spent her summers on the St. Johns River, swimming and sailing. Before law school, she spent a year working in her father's firm. Through clerking, she learned the importance of giving every citizen access to the courts to plead their cause.

During law school, Lauren served as President of the Student Bar Association. She worked to make sure every student's voice was heard. She also worked for the Public Defender's Office in Leon County, Florida as a Certified Legal Intern. There, she realized her passion for defending the accused. Upon graduation, she moved to Orlando, Florida to work for the Ninth Judicial Circuit's Public Defender's Office. She fought zealously for six years and tried over forty cases. By the end of her tenure, she was handling drug trafficking, sexual assault, child pornography and burglary cases.

In December 2016, she tried a civil theft case with her father in Duval County. After prevailing, she was eager to join his practice and apply her trial skills to civil litigation.  Before leaving the PD's Office, she applied for the Board Certification examination in the area of Criminal Trial Law. To apply, you must have at least twenty-five trials. Certification is awarded only after passing a written examination and intensive peer review. In Fall 2017, she received her Board Certification in Criminal Trial Law, making her an expert in the field and in the top tier of Florida's attorneys.
