Depending on the case, we offer an hourly rate or a flat non-refundable rate. In cases billed hourly, our lawyers keep detailed logs of the time they spend on your case. We count in ten minute increments and round down when in-between them. Work logs will be disclosed to all clients paying hourly rates upon closing of the case. We only work for as long as a case requires, so you will never be over-billed. We do not bill for every telephone call. We bill for calls only when they involve lengthy, strategic legal discussions, so do not hesitate to contact us about your case. Costs, such as filing fees, are paid by the client from their costs deposit. All unused funds from the costs deposit will be returned at the conclusion of the case, along with an accounting of the costs.
